How do agents/Genies work?

The main use case is the simple creation and utilization of Genies (AI agents – custom, function-specific AI applications) that are “trained” (or embedded) with company-specific content and information. They enable the automation of routine tasks in content creation, process automation, information processing and retrieval, as well as intelligent search. When AI agents are created using company information or documents, they become tailored, intelligent assistants capable of answering specific company-related questions, analyzing documents, and automating processes.

What is a Genie?

GenieHub works through a centrally managed collection of tailored generative AI applications called Genies. A Genie includes pre-defined function-specific guiding task assistants (prompt templates), a generative AI model (e.g. LLM like GPT), and corporate content or data.

How can I add new Genies?

Administrators can easily configure and deploy new Genies, making it simple to expand the platform’s capabilities. End-users can then view and access all Genies available to them in their client dashboard.

What are the system requirements for using GenieHub?

GenieHub requires integration with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure AI Search, Azure Storage Account, and Azure OpenAI for language models.

Does GenieHub integrate with existing systems?

Yes, GenieHub provides the ability to integrate with existing systems, such as ECM, workflow engines, or custom applications. This is facilitated through a robust Web Service API which allows for the automation of the execution of pre-defined activities/prompts of the configured and deployed Genies. Developers can utilize this web service to provide generative AI output to other applications, such as answering support tickets, creating documents, or managing human communication tasks.

How does GenieHub ensure my data security?

In order to ensure the privacy and safety of your data, GenieHub’s architecture incorporates multiple layers of security measures. Data encryption, secure access control, and compliance with industry-standard privacy regulations ensure that all data within GenieHub is protected against unauthorized access and threats.

How many questions can GenieHub handle per day?

There is no such limit in GenieHub. Theoretically, a user can ask as many questions as the subscription plan allows.

What LLMs are supported?

We currently support GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, GPT-4, and GPT-3.5.

What file formats can be used for corporate data embedding?

GenieHub supports Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe PDF, PNG, RTF, JSON, HTML, and XML.

Is text from images within documents indexed (OCR)?

Text in images can be indexed by GenieHub.

Can GenieHub consider document permissions when generating responses?

Yes, GenieHub can consider document permissions, ensuring that only authorized information is used when generating responses.

What types of external data sources can be used for corporate data embedding?

Currently we support Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, File Shares, HCL Domino/Notes, Hyland Alfresco, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, OpenText Content Suite, OpenText Documentum, SQL Database (such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.) and Veeva Vault.
